“UNBEARABLE PUB”
This month you find me
in a little town called Lohrville. It’s
just south of Redgranite on EE. There,
I found the new owners of a place that used to be called Krazy Joe’s,
and have now made it their own. Unbearable
Pub is owned and operated by Gene & Judy Lorenz.
They moved up from Elgin, Ill, bought the place in late April and
proceeded to do some remodeling to get ready for the opening June 15th.
They serve a limited grill menu with both daily food and drink
specials. Gene knows what it’s like around here, as he came up and
vacationed in this area a lot when he was younger. He still has fond
memories of Camp and of a lot of the people in this area. They’re
anxious to get involved in the local leagues; such as dart & pool.
Also looking forward to the winter season when the snowmobilers
will be right outside their door going down the Bannerman Trail.
They’ll be ready with the good winter menu when that time comes
around. Gene said that the horseback riders often
come down in the summer months now. Originally
from Carpentersville and
They are also looking forward to their “Grand Opening”; which
is scheduled for Aug. 25th.
They will have drawings and music, with lots of specials.
Music starts at 4pm. Another
event coming up will be “Fiddlesticks” here Sept. 22nd,
with some good old country music.
So, stop by our newest member, come on in, have a seat &
“Grin and Bear it” at the Unbearable Pub!!
